PARTNERS & COLLABORATORS

We work closely with our users and clinical experts.

PEER REVIEW

To ensure credibility and practical relevance in VAR, we conduct mulit-stage peer reviews for the content. VAR carries out peer reviews on all content published in the database. Those selected as peer reviewers for VAR are considered clinical experts in their respective fields.

VAR has established peer reviewers, known as contributors, who work alongside VAR's editors to develop new content and update existing content within VAR. In addition, we hire clinical experts for specific tasks, such as:

  • Developing new content in collaboration with VAR editors.
  • Providing a second opinion on newly developed content.
  • Reviewing existing content to ensure that VAR aligns with the national guidelines and practical realities of each country.

SUPERS USERS

Super users have a central role in terms of feedback in relation to the content, VAR training, presentation and functionality for their users.

Active participation from VAR users and professional communities, both in terms of developing new content, updates and functionality, is part of the knowledge base and our work processes.

VAR Healthcare aids to appoint super users. The ratings from the super users give the editors of VAR very important insights into how VAR is experienced in daily use. The input is recorded and used systematically in the work activities of VAR, both for necessary adjustments along the way and in further development of the solution.

Every year, we invite all super users to a joint gathering with VAR, for demos and exchange of experiences.

USERS AND PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITIES

Active participation from VAR users and professional communities, both in terms of developing new content, updates and functionality, is part of the knowledge base and our work processes.
We are often asked about content in VAR, why we describe a procedure in a certain way, about alternative ways of describing procedures and with requests for clinically relevant content.

All inquiries are followed up thoroughly by the editorial staff.

USER INPUT

Input from our users is followed up continuously as shown in the model below:
